Our hope is to build strong relationships with the families of our students. We want to start the school year off by giving you the tools you need to successfully use our schools online learning management system. Echo is where you will find student grades, agendas, homework and more. Below you will find everything you need to use Echo to observe your student’s progress in all their courses throughout the school year.
Why Echo?
Echo is a unique learning management system. It is designed for schools who wish to promote and support deeper, more engaging, more relevant instructional practices in the classroom. Because our school provides this type of instruction, we choose to use Echo to support this style of instruction.
How does Echo work for Parents?
Within Echo you, as an observer, can be connected to your student. This connection is put into place by Van Wert City Schools. You will be given your Parent/Observer login credentials. If you have more than one student using Echo in the same school, you will just need one account. You can apply to get your login credentials here. Once logged in you will be able to view courses your student is enrolled in, activities they have been assigned or have completed, grades for each course and so much more.
Resources to Support Your Parent/Observer Needs
Within the Echo Help Center there are Parent/Observer resources. Here you can find help logging in, navigating the homepage, viewing student grades and more.
Here are all the resources you will need to be a successful Echo observer.
